The video above showing the installation is by using the exact same files as you will receive. Because of the massive size of this program, you must allow plenty of time and ensure you have enough space for the install. More problems occur by not following the instructions and not having enough room for the manual. I have many happy customers who have purchased this program from me and are still using it everyday. It is possible to install DAS/WIS/ASRA/EPC software on an XP computer (Laptop or desktop - it doesn't matter) as long as the hard drive is within a specific size range. The current installation requires the hard drive to be at least 55GB but less than 100GB. Daimler Chrysler have also incorporated some really quirky (security-based) requirements such as the number of partitions the computer must have, the type of partition (primary parttion / extended partition with logical drives) and also some specific windows registry keys that have to be manually created to set installation permissions beyond those outlined by winXP. Finally, with the help of a key generator it's plain sailing.
If you're not that familiar with computers then this may sound complicated but believe me it is not. Can u teach me how to do that?
Can u teach me how to do that? I would not ask him, he is talking about hard drive restrictions that apply for SDS. WIS NET can be installed on any hard drive that has enough space to store the data. Windows7 may need some compatibility tricks, specifically if run on 64 bit mode, I'm not familiar with Windows7 installations. And forget the old program manager approach. If you cannot figure out the appropriate way, buy an up-to-date guide from John. Hi Profs, would like to seek for help on how to install WIS database. Under EWA Admin Tool - WIS net tab - When i Click install, it will prompt me for the WISCD001. I've tried 3 DVD also unable to recognize. Anyone could help? Please refer to the screenshot below: Which exact DVDs do you have or do you mean you have been using three different copies of the same DVD?
Did you use the first WIS DVD to install EWA NET? Your screen capture was not accurate enough to enable the DVD content being recognised. Firstly as far as I know to make it work on Vista /windows7 you need to set up a virtual XP and run it on that. From the screen shot it's asking for the first disc, you need to go into the program and run the EWA net.Mine didn't ask for disc 1, it asked for 2/3/4/5.I don't have discs just the program so I installed a virtual drive (4 of). When I changed to my new PC I pre-loaded 4 virtual drives and was expecting it to ask me for cd's which were on the drives, however it found them on it's own. Do you have installation instructions? I can post them in PDF.Full instructions.

The pdf from the previous message works mostly except that one probably looses datacards with fresh SW releases. Sometimes this approach also fails at the change from the first DVD to the next one. I've tried to install EWA NET on a Vista computer and it was fine, I've also seen forum members succeeding with Windows7 but I always use XP.
